Description

Please join us for an evening of Sumptuous Food and Beautiful Music as Auntie Barb's Bakery hosts this special fundraiser benefitting East Kootenay Friends of Children.

Supper

A warm blend of Mediteranean flavours, antipasti, Auntie Barb's famous bread basket, and an assortment of fresh ingredients from local producers such as Fort Steele's own Cutter Ranch. Of course it wouldn't be a meal in a bakery without fine house-made desserts.

Songs

UPDATE! We are excited to announce that the incredibly talented Leeroy Stagger is taking a detour from his Strange Path tour to join Wild Honey on stage at Auntie Barb's. 11 albums, two EPs and 17 years as a singer-songwriter, Leeroy's song Strange Attractor is currently #3 on CBC's top 20. After 4 years supporting EK Friends of Children as one of the principal musicians on the Cariboo Express, we're thrilled to welcome him back.

Wild Honey is an East Kootenay folk/roots trio comprised of Shelby Knudsen, Laura Cain, and Jessica Neidermayer. In summer of 2019 they released their EP, Distant Skies which is a culmination of song writing, collaborations and a trip to the Ryman Theatre. Wild Honey has been a constant champion of Friends of Children and they're the perfect compliment to this unique and intimate venue in the heart of Cranbrook BC.

Auntie Barb's Bakery is fully licensed;

Doors and No-host Bar open at 6pm, with supper and show to follow.

This is an all ages event
