What is Friends of Children Society?
Friends of Children is a registered charitable organization providing a free-service for children in medical need from birth up to 19 years of age who live in Northern and East Kootenay regions of B.C.
How do Friends of Children help families with children in medical need?
Assisting with financial support for travel, meals and accommodation involving children’s medical needs. Providing resource information and emotional support. Coordinating support through our links with other organizations. Support must be pre-approved and not after the appointment

Friends of Children serve what areas of B.C.?
You must live in Northern BC or East Kootenay regions of BC. Geographically, Friends of Children provides service to ¾ of British Columbia.
